Kaizen | Residential General Contractor

Kaizen Custom Home Builders builds homes, not houses. It’s about people, not products. This is an important distinction, and one we do not take lightly. It’s because this is about you, your family, your lifestyle, and your budget.  It’s all part of the custom home design process to help you get what you want and need and that is quite exciting! We are here to partner with you, listen to what you need, and help you decide what is best for your family.

There Are Two Things That Set Us Apart From Our Competitors: Transparency And Owner Involvement.

First of all, it is our respect for transparency. We understand that what makes a house a home is all of the little things, but the engine behind those little things is how we do what we do, not just what we do. We don’t hide the little things, the big things or anything in between. You will know what the costs are up front. It’s the only way that we know how to do business.

Secondly, it is our dedication to having the owner of Kaizen be on your home-site working, building, and managing to make sure that your home is being crafted to your desires and his specifications. This is an easy thing for any residential general contractor to say, but it is a completely different challenge to actually execute on this aspect of the home construction. As owner David Batthauer says at most every first meeting, “If you want to know who is building your home… I am building your home!”

Both our team and our building processes are focused on getting every tiny detail right. We want everything correct from the beginning of the house construction process to how the project makes you feel every step of the way.

We know that if we can be transparent and have our team perform in-house many of the aspects of your home construction, then we know we can deliver a high level of service and satisfaction for our clients. We want to knock it out of the park every time.

Experience

We’ve been in the construction business for over 20 years, with experience in both commercial and residential markets. This includes house construction framing, trim carpentry, cabinet making, and remodeling. David Batthauer, owner of Kaizen Home Builders, is a business leader who hires to team members that bring strength and gifting in areas that he doesn’t have. No one can do it all, and it takes a courageous leader to admit one’s blind spots.

We believe that to be the best at what we do we need to be avid scholars of traditional and innovative construction techniques, designs and trends. From efficient framing to energy saving home building, we have our minds focused on home-enhancing technologies.
